MBARA is happy to announce that our members have built and deployed a new repeater. So, if you’re in the area, or maybe even across the bay, program it into your radio and give it a try!
The repeater consists of a BI7JTA MMDVM Control board atop a Raspberry Pi 3 Model A Plus Rev 1.1- This connects through its DB9 port to a pair of Motorola CDM1550 radios, which each run to a flatpack duplexer giving 80db of isolation, through 25′ of coax into an Ed Fong J-Pole antenna.
Tech info: output is on 441.55 with a POSITIVE offset to the input of 446.55, with a PL of 162.2 for FM, and NAC 293 For P25.
Have fun, and please let us know if you are able to access it.
