Ham Radio Testing by MBARA

Monterey Bay Amateur Radio Association (MBARA) announces that starting in January 2026, it will offer in-person, regular, quarterly testing for ham radio licenses in Marina, California.

Taking the in-person exam is the last step to get your ham radio license. The exams are free and administered by friendly volunteers who want nothing more than to see you pass.

Exam Candidates: You are REQUIRED to register in the FCC CORES system and receive an FCC Registration Number (FRN) before exam day.
