Preparations had been thorough. Solar panels, battery banks, and an emergency solar generator ensured a reliable power supply. Several new antenna types stood tall.
Members arrived before 9:00 AM, bringing equipment and enthusiasm. Everyone, from seasoned operators to new licensees, worked together as a team. Even curious onlookers learned about amateur radio.

Stories of contacts and equipment were shared. An impromptu workshop on portable antenna theory drew a large crowd.
By Sunday afternoon, as packing began, a number of successful demonstrations to the general public of various FD-related station hunting, non-FD QSOs on the new GMRS repeater, and local area repeaters prompted by questions from visitors. Emergency preparedness was practiced, the Meshtastic node was also demonstrated, and passion for the hobby was renewed.

Field Day 2025 was a successful exercise in communications and a celebration of community, learning, and amateur radio. MBARA had excelled, and anticipation for 2026 was already building.
